Job summary

BBA Consultants is seeking an experienced project controller in Canada to support project managers, monitor progress with reliable indicators, and oversee schedule, budget, scope, and change orders. You will develop and update execution plans and produce analyses and reports for clients.

The role requires advanced English and French, strong Excel and project-control software skills, and experience across project lifecycles, including international projects.

Qualifications

• College diploma or university degree
• From 7 to 15 years of relevant experience in project control
• Any combination of college or university and relevant experience
• Worked on all phases of a project lifecycle
• Able to analyze problems and have advanced knowledge of Excel
• Practical knowledge of Primavera P6
• Practical knowledge of project control software
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or/or clients in Québec
• Good writing abilities in both English and French
• Asset: Prism G2 Suite modules
• Asset: experience in mining, energy or heavy industry sectors
• Asset: international projects

• Produce project control deliverables, and supervise all activities related to the schedule, the budget and costs, the scope of work, change orders, risks, trends, resource planning, variances, billing, and more
• Produce or ensure that project execution plans and procedures are developed and updated
• Produce or supervise the development of required analyses and reports and present them regularly
• Stay in regular contact with project managers, project teams and clients
