BBA Consultants is seeking an intermediate procurement advisor to execute end-to-end procurement activities for mining, heavy industry and energy projects. You will collaborate with project teams, optimize standards and ensure contract document quality.

The role emphasizes English-French collaboration across offices and clients, with opportunities for site work and professional growth. Regular work with diverse stakeholders supports complex, multi‑faceted projects.

Qualificações

• Relevant university or technical education (engineering, administration, logistics or supply chain)
• At least five years of relevant experience in project procurement
• Experience in heavy industry, mining/metals and/or energy sectors
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced English to collaborate with other BBA offices and clients in English-speaking provinces and internationally
• Advanced French to collaborate with Québec offices/clients
• Assets: experience with international project procurement
• Assets: experience with logistics and transportation

Responsabilidades

• Execute end-to-end procurement processes for projects
• Help optimize procurement standards, procedures and tools
• Ensure compliance, traceability and quality of contractual documents
• Contribute to continuous improvement of practices and systems
• Oversee RFQs, evaluations and contract negotiations
• Manage supplier relationships and approvals
• Support project teams with supplier and contractual issues
• Assist in resolving claims and contractual disputes

Summary Of Certifications And Job Requirements

• Relevant university or technical education (engineering, administration, logistics or supply chain)
• At least five years of relevant experience in project procurement
• Experience in the heavy industry, mining and metals and/or energy sectors
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
• Advanced English skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in English-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally; you may need to use English occasionally or daily, depending on current projects
• Advanced French skills to facilitate collaboration with other BBA offices and/or clients in Québec
• Asset: experience with international project procurement
• Asset: experience with logistics and transportation
