We have exciting opportunities for engineering co‑op students in our state‑of‑the‑art sawmills in southern, central, and northern NB and in Truro, NS.
Responsibilities
Coordinate projects by working alongside contractors and mill personnel to determine scope, planning, and execution of work packages for mill projects
Lead specific projects with a team of sawmill staff and millwrights
Work alongside senior management and site leaders to drive improvement throughout the site
Champion safety, quality, and efficiency on the floor
Learn the ins and outs of sawmill production and identify areas for improvement
Qualifications
Engineering student in good academic standing, returning to school
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
High energy level with thorough attention to detail
Self‑motivated with a strong desire to improve operational processes
Ability to effectively manage multiple assignments and shifting priorities
