Job summary

Aecon Group Inc. seeks an Engineering Co-op Student to join the Earthworks & Roadways Team on the Deerfoot Trail Improvements Project in Calgary, Alberta.

Site-based work offers hands-on experience in heavy civil construction alongside experienced engineers and construction professionals. You will gain exposure to earthworks, grading, underground utilities, paving, and traffic staging, with opportunities for growth through involvement in planning, scheduling, cost tracking, and quality

Qualifications

• Enrolled in civil engineering or related program at a university, college, or technical institute.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD/Bluebeam is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site audits and prepare progress reports.
• Assist field engineers and superintendents with daily tasks.
• Track quantities and analyze productivity.
• Prepare drawings and project documentation.
• Support project cost reporting and schedule liaison.
