Position Overview

We are seeking students with a background in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields for an Engineering co-op position. You will support senior engineers in exciting projects. Candidates should be willing to commute or relocate to the area for the duration of the co-op. Enrolled students in a Canadian post-secondary institution, returning after the co-op, are eligible. Proof of a valid work permit may be required.

Location

Our corporate office in Calgary, Alberta, is situated in downtown, offering access to vibrant city life and proximity to the Canadian Rockies for outdoor activities.

Salary Range

$4,700 - $6,000 per month, based on academic progress and experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety and environmental protocols
• Participate in health and safety programs
• Support engineering team in planning technical projects
• Assist with maintenance project coordination and monitoring
• Innovate and improve business processes
• Troubleshoot failures and analyze root causes
• Collaborate with operations to manage project schedules, costs, and data analysis

Qualifications

• Enrolled in an undergraduate Mechanical or Electrical Engineering program
• Comfortable in a dynamic industrial environment
• Self-motivated with project management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD and SolidWorks is advantageous
• Previous technical or engineering experience is a plus
• Experience with data analysis, macros, Power BI is an asset
• Fluency in Spanish required
