Job summary

Cummins in Regina, SK is seeking a Diesel Technician/Mechanic to diagnose, repair, and service medium and heavy-duty trucks and related equipment. You will complete repairs, use diagnostic tools, maintain records, and comply with health, safety, and environmental policies.

Ongoing training and tool ownership are expected to keep customers running safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate holds a Journeyman certification and demonstrates strong diagnostic skills, aiming for high-quality

Job description

We are looking for a talented Diesel Technician/Mechanic to join our Distribution business in (Regina, SK).

Will make an impact in the following ways:

• Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop
• Perform maintenance/repairs utilizing diagnostic tools
• Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles
• Adhere to Cummins Health, Safety & Environmental policies
• Ongoing development/certifications on new and existing Cummins products
• Maintain own tools

In order to be successful in this role you will need the following:

• Completes complex internal engine repairs
• Performs complex unassisted engine overhauls
• Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools
• Detailed understanding of the aftertreatment system and components
• Mentor junior technicians including technical support and documentation
