Job summary

MTU Canada seeks a seasoned Engineering Manager within Cleaning, Inspection, and Repair to lead the CIR engineering team, drive standards, and optimize maintenance programs for reliability and on-wing life. You will coordinate cross-functional activities, manage budgets, and advance continuous improvement initiatives.

Ideal candidates have a Master of Engineering or equivalent with 5+ years leadership in aviation engineering, and strong SAP, CAD/CNC and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering or Bachelor with extensive leadership experience in aviation engineering.
• Proven track record leading technical teams and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of engineering data management and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the CIR engineering team to meet department and company goals.
• Set, monitor, and report KPIs; align with corporate objectives and CI program.
• Develop and update engine maintenance standards, instruction sets and technical orders.
• Coordinate budgets, financial results, and relocation considerations where applicable.
• Liaise with engine manufacturers, customers and powerplant teams to resolve technical data issues and drive improvements.
