Stikeman Elliott LLP in Calgary seeks a Commercial Energy Associate with 2 to 6 years of experience to advise on domestic and international energy transactions, including upstream and midstream oil and gas, conventional power, and renewables.

The successful candidate will work with a collegial team across offices, receive mentorship from partners, and engage in corporate and commercial matters, joint ventures, project development, and energy-related contracts.

Competenze

2 to 6 years of experience in commercial energy transactions across upstream and midstream oil and gas, conventional power, renewable energy.
Excellent analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills required.
Experience advising on corporate and commercial energy projects, mergers and acquisitions, and energy contracts.

Mansioni

Advise clients on domestic and international energy transactions.
Develop and negotiate joint ventures, project development, and energy-related agreements.
Collaborate with partners and associates across offices to deliver client solutions.
