Job summary

Brunel is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Lead to support a portfolio of major energy projects across Western Canada. This role will provide contracting, procurement, and commercial leadership for projects in various stages of development and execution.

Calgary-based, hybrid work environment with minimum 3 days in the office. You will lead contracting and procurement strategies, negotiations, and contract management to deliver on-time, on-budget outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Law, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in Contracting & Procurement, Supply Chain, or Commercial Management.
• Experience with capital projects in energy/oil & gas/petrochemical/industrial sectors.
• Strong negotiation, contract management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Experience with reimbursable and lump-sum contracts.
• Calgary-based, hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute contracting and procurement strategies for capital projects.
• Lead sourcing activities, tendering processes, commercial evaluations, and contract negotiations.
• Manage engineering, procurement, fabrication, and construction-related contracts.
• Support contract administration, change management, claims mitigation, and contractor performance management.
• Collaborate with project, engineering, construction, finance, and supply chain stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
• Identify commercial risks, cost-saving opportunities, and value improvement initiatives.
