Job summary

TC Energy is seeking a Student Intern to support validation, reporting, and analytics for commercial trading and marketing activities. The role provides hands-on experience in a mid-office function supporting natural gas and power trading.

You will gain exposure to energy markets, data analysis, and risk monitoring, while collaborating with experienced professionals and contributing to operational decision-making during a 2027 May–April 2028 term.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Economics, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or related degree program.
• Return to full-time studies after the work term and be available for the 2027 May start.
• Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the term.

Responsibilities

• Support daily validation and reporting activities for the commercial trading and marketing organization.
• Monitor and analyze market, trading, and operational data to support business processes.
• Assist with reporting, data management, and analytical activities that support commercial operations.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of recurring reports and business metrics.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to investigate data discrepancies and support resolution activities.
• Build working knowledge of natural gas and power market fundamentals and industry terminology.
