Job summary

TC Energy invites applications for a Student Intern to support daily validation, reporting, and analytical activities within the commercial trading and marketing organization.

The role offers exposure to energy markets, data analysis, and risk monitoring while supporting business processes and decision-making in a mid-office setting. Hybrid work arrangements apply in Canada, with relocation support available.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Economics, Business, Commerce, Mathematics, or related degree program.
• Completion of at least one academic term prior to May 2027.
• Returning to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
• Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for the duration of the work term.

Responsibilities

• Support daily validation and reporting activities for the commercial trading and marketing organization.
• Monitor and analyze market, trading, and operational data to support business processes.
• Assist with reporting, data management, and analytical activities that support commercial operations.
• Support the preparation and maintenance of recurring reports and business metrics.
• Work with stakeholders to investigate data discrepancies and support resolution activities.
• Develop a working knowledge of natural gas and power market fundamentals, industry terminology, and commercial processes.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to reporting, analytics, and data quality.
