Resource Innovations in Toronto, ON is seeking an Energy Engineering Intern for a cooperative education placement from January 2027 to May 2027, with potential extension into Fall 2027. The role focuses on supporting DSM program evaluations, data collection, analyses, and reporting.

The role requires a student in a post-secondary STEAM or business program in Canada, legal work entitlement, and a passion for sustainability.

Qualifications

• Experience or education in energy efficiency.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent writing, communication and computer skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Junior engineering and analysis support; data collection, energy analyses, and project research.
• Primary and secondary data collection efforts, as well as data analysis.
• Conduct evaluation, measurement and verification (EM&V) activities for installed energy efficiency measures.
• Support and assist with input for technical reports by contributing to draft reports, including results and actionable recommendations.
• Support senior staff with the development of presentations and reports.
• Other duties as assigned.
