Job summary

Festival Hydro is seeking an Energy Program Specialist to support electricity demand-side management (eDSM) initiatives and conservation programs funded through Ontario’s IESO framework, including Save on Energy.

The role combines energy analysis, program administration and customer engagement to identify energy-efficiency opportunities across customer facilities. You will review data, support site assessments and guide customers through incentives to improve program performance and compliance.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in a technical field related to energy or buildings.
• Experience with energy efficiency, building systems or utility programs is preferred.
• Ability to interpret energy data, calculations and technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Support outreach to identify opportunities through Save on Energy and other programs.
• Conduct or support site visits and energy-opportunity assessments.
• Review HVAC, pumps, lighting and other systems for energy-saving opportunities.
• Analyze consumption data and demand profiles to spot optimization opportunities.
• Assist with incentive applications, project cost and simple-payback calculations.
• Coordinate reporting and compliance with IESO program requirements.
