Qualifications

  • Minimum 3+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary education in a related technical field of study or a combination.
  • Understanding of Information Technology terminologies, ITAM lifecycle and experience with ServiceNow is an asset.
  • Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to manipulate data and formulas.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to accept responsibility and work.
  • Bilingual, English & French considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the hardware and software asset lifecycle including acquisition, tracking, reconciliation and decommission.
  • Coordinate and ensure leased assets are returned to vendor on time, reconciling and monitoring shipments.
  • Perform semiannual audits to reclaim unused communication lines, hardware, and software licenses.
  • Manage order requests for hardware, communication lines, software, and peripherals to maintain inventory.
  • Coordinate and schedule disposal of assets for recycling, sale, or donation.

Your Moneris Career - The Opportunity

This role is accountable for the hardware and software asset lifecycle including acquisition, tracking, reconciliation and decommission. This includes managing the hardware and software attestation process, reconciliation of software licenses to vendor agreements and accurate tracking and allocation of hardware assets.

Location: You will be based in our Toronto office, balancing in-office collaboration with remote flexibility.

Reporting Relationship: You will report to the Team Lead, End-user Services

Your Moneris Career - What you\'ll do
  • Responsible for the overall management, reconciliation, asset allocation, audit and coordination of the IT asset portfolio including fulfillment of hardware, communication lines, licensed software, maintenance, support, and peripherals.
  • Coordinate, validate and ensure leased assets are returned to leasing vendor on time including the reconciling and monitoring of shipments.
  • Performing semiannual audits to ensure communication lines, hardware, and software licenses not in use are reclaimed and made available for redeployment.
  • Manage order requests for hardware, communication lines, software, and peripherals to maintain inventory levels and ensure all purchase requests, orders, and finance asset numbers are tracked along with investigation of any irregularities and variances.
  • Coordinate, process, and schedule disposal of assets for recycling, sale to employees, sale to external business, or donation including obtaining proper certificates or documentation to support the disposal, sale, or purchase.
