Job summary

Ape Born in Canada is seeking a full-time Physical Product Designer to take wellness and recovery products from concept to factory-ready files. This isn't a hand-off role; you will design the product, build technical drawings, and work directly with manufacturers to bring products into production across belts, mats, saunas, and supplements.

You will own packaging design, dielines, labels, and graphics across retail and online packaging, collaborating across CAD, packaging, and QA, ensuring cost

Qualifications

• Must be able to produce production-ready technical files.
• Experience creating cut sheets, tech packs, and packaging artwork.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes across devices and soft goods.

Responsibilities

• Take products from concept to production-ready files.
• Create detailed 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing.
• Produce cut sheets and tech packs with specs and Pantone colors.
• Design belts, wraps, mats, carpets and packaging.
• Plan panel layouts for saunas and electronics enclosures.
• Lead packaging across all product lines including boxes and labels.
• Create dielines and print-ready artwork.
• Design supplement labels with regulatory elements.
• Collaborate with overseas factories and review samples.
• Create product visuals for sales and marketing.
• Design for cost, durability, and manufacturability.
• Maintain organized version-controlled file library.
