Abbeal SAS is hiring a Lead Product Designer to own the iOS app design from launch through long-term engagement, while building a robust design system across surfaces. The role collaborates closely with engineering to ship with clear specs and quality reviews, and to defend design decisions to the founders, iterating based on outcomes.

This is a fully on-site Montreal position focused on AI-powered health and wellness products.

Qualifications

• Shipped consumer mobile products with real usage.
• Built or substantially owned a design system with documentation.
• Hands-on contributor who prefers doing the work over managing.
• Able to defend design decisions and iterate with founders.
• Experience using AI tools in design practice.

Responsibilities

• Own the iOS app design end to end from launch through long-term engagement.
• Build and maintain the design system: color, typography, spacing, components, usage rules.
• Work hand in hand with engineering while shipping: clear specs, quality reviews.
• Own the brand's visual identity across every surface.
• Present and defend design decisions to the founders, then iterate.
