Job summary

Contrans Vrac in Ontario is seeking a full-time Company Driver for Canada/US routes. You will perform pre-trip inspections, load and unload bulk/dump products, tarp trailers, and maintain trailer cleanliness in a demanding logistics environment.

Candidates must hold an AZ license, have CVOR and a clean drivers abstract, and be willing to cross borders. Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required. Experience: 1+ year heavy haul or 3+ years over-the-road preferred.

Qualifications

• Must hold AZ license and have minimum 1 year heavy haul experience or 3 years over-the-road experience.
• CVOR and a clean Drivers Abstract are required.
• Pre-employment drug and alcohol testing is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-trip inspections and safety checks before driving.
• Load and unload bulk/dump products.
• Tarp trailers and secure loads for transport.
• Inspect and clean trailers after use and report any defects.
• Cross Canada/US borders as required by route.
• Operate truck and manage equipment safely.
• Use electronic logging device (Peoplenet) and maintain accurate logs.
• Report defects and coordinate with dispatch for maintenance.
