Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking a Fleet Coordinator to lead the Vehicle and Equipment Supply Service Technician (VESST) team and ensure ambulances, equipment and supplies meet provincial standards.

You will work with operations, vendors and frontline staff to maintain readiness, manage resources, and drive continuous improvement across EMS assets. The role requires travel, physical stamina, and strong coordination skills.

Qualifications

• ACOP registration and CPR certification required.
• Valid Class 4 Alberta driver’s licence with a clean six‑month driving abstract.
• Ability to travel, endure physically demanding conditions and lift up to 105 lbs.
• FARE test completion within six months if not currently in a clinical role.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the VESST team to ensure ambulances, equipment and supplies meet provincial standards.
• Liaise with operations, vendors and support services to maintain fleet readiness.
• Oversee logistics planning, inventory oversight and process improvement across the province.
• Support emergency preparedness activities and reporting for EMS operations.
