Job summary

Paladin Security is hiring an Emergency Medical Responder Security Guard for a casual role near Red Deer, Alberta. The position requires EMR certification or active training with temporary license, and Alberta security credentials.

Applicants must hold at least a high school diploma and a valid Class 4 Alberta driver’s license or be willing to obtain one by training end. The EMR guard will promote safety, respond to emergencies, conduct site access control, and support a cohesive team while

Qualifications

• Must hold EMR Certificate or have completed training with a temporary license.
• Valid AB Security license or willingness to obtain one before starting.
• Class 4 Alberta Driver's License or willingness to obtain by end of training.
• Open availability for day and night shifts in rotation.

Responsibilities

• Offer support to persons in need and monitor safety hazards.
• Follow site safety procedures and respond to emergencies.
• Conduct traffic and pedestrian control at site access points.
• Perform vehicle and bag searches as required.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or in a vehicle to ensure safety.
• Report irregularities and liaise with police, fire, or ambulance as needed.
• Use two-way radio and computer applications for operations.
