Job summary

HSE Integrated Ltd. seeks an Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) for casual shifts across Alberta worksites. You will deliver immediate on-site medical care, adhere to Medical Control Guidelines, and arrange transport as needed, while maintaining patient dignity and safety.

Key requirements include EMR registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics, H2S Alive, and a valid Class 5 license. Prior field experience in industrial/O&G settings is a plus; contraception optional.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted EMR registration with the Alberta College of Paramedics.
• H2S Alive certification.
• Frack or Rig experience.
• Valid, unrestricted Class 5 Driver's License.
• Current and clean Driver's Abstract.
• Experience in Industrial or Oil & Gas sector as medic is an asset.
• Physically capable of working in adverse weather.
• Willingness to cross train for other positions/locations.
• Pass a pre-employment drug & alcohol screen.
• Perform other duties as directed by Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Read, understand and comply with HSE’s Medical Control Guidelines and safety policies.
• Report to the Station Manager and follow directions from Operations.
• Work within scope of practice determined by licensing body under Medical Director guidance.
• Ensure patient dignity, safety, privacy and confidentiality.
• Provide immediate on-site medical care and arrange timely transport as needed.
• Participate in New Hire Orientation with mentorship for field adaptation.
