Job summary

Newfoundland and Labrador Health Services is seeking an EMR Practice Advisor to join the Digital Health – eDOCS NL program on a temporary full-time basis. You will deliver guidance to physicians and clinic staff during EMR implementation, promote strategic planning for EMR adoption, and support workflow improvements across provincial health care settings.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, provide training, and contribute to governance activities and quality improvement initiatives,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, or a health-related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in adult education, quality improvement, change management, and/or leadership.

Responsibilities

• Deliver advice and assistance to physicians and clinic staff during the EMR implementation to improve care delivery and practice efficiency.
• Promote strategic and systematic planning to support successful EMR adoption.
• Assess clinical workflow to enhance use of EMR and optimize outcomes.
• Provide training and support to health care professionals as required.
• Participate in programs such as webinars, committees, governance activities, program development and quality improvement.
• Drive provincial standardization in alignment with stakeholder priorities.
• Develop and maintain clinical relationships; lead or support collaborative partnerships with health care professionals.
• Collaborate with multiple stakeholders to achieve common goals and vision.
• Support best practices and processes at project and program levels.
