Job summary

NL Health Services seeks Emergency Medicine Physicians to join teams across Newfoundland and Labrador. Multiple permanent full-time vacancies across Central and Eastern zones, with sites in Gander, Grand Falls-Windsor, Carbonear and St. John’s.

Qualifications

• MD from a recognized institution.
• Eligible for licensure with the provincial medical board.
• ACLS and BLS certification required.
• CRiminal record/vulnerable sector checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency medicine care to patients of all ages.
• Work scheduled shifts at each site in a fair, predictable format.
• Collaborate with ED and support services on site.
• Provide virtual care as required by site needs.
• Promote patient and worker safety and participate in risk mitigation.
