Job summary

ParaMed Home Health Care is looking for a dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our home care team servicing Midland, Orillia, Muskoka and surrounding areas. You will assist patients with daily living activities, meal preparation, light housekeeping, and companionship to promote dignity and independence.

We value compassion, reliability and flexibility, with travel within designated areas. A PSW certificate, valid driver's license, and Vulnerable Sector Check are required; generous training,

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PSW certificate.
• Valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle.
• Vulnerable Sector Check completed.
• Compassion, empathy and professionalism in care.
• Reliable and flexible to evolving care needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with daily living activities including skin, hair, oral care, bathing, toileting, and peri-care.
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks per care plan.
• Provide light housekeeping and companionship to promote comfort and safety.
• Support independence and meaningful daily routines at home and in the community.
• Build trusted relationships with patients and families through compassionate care.
