Job summary

Women In Need Society (WINS) in Calgary seeks an Employment Services Coordinator to deliver the Warehouse Ready and Retail Ready programs. You will work with participants, coordinate practicum placements, and collaborate with social enterprise and HR to ensure timely training and successful job placement.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree related to adult learning or education and 3+ years in employment services, with a focus on diverse populations and strong coaching skills.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree related to adult learning, training or education.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in similar role, or 5 years experience in employment services settings.
  • Experience with diverse populations and understanding of issues affecting women in crisis or low-income situations.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver WINS Employment Services Programs (Warehouse Ready and Retail Ready).
  • Coordinate with Social Enterprise and HR for practicum placements and training.
  • Recruit and screen program participants based on eligibility and readiness.
  • Evaluate participants and provide coaching and support during in-house practicum.
  • Maintain records of intake, evaluations, placements, statistics and demographics.
  • Develop, evaluate, and deliver training curricula and materials.
  • Promote programs and build partnerships with community agencies.
  • Ensure Salesforce data entry and timely reporting.
