Role Description

The Employment Counsellor is a full-time, on-site role located in Winnipeg, MB. This position provides one-on-one and group employment support to community members, including assessing needs, setting goals, and developing individualized employment plans. Daily tasks include delivering job coaching, teaching job search strategies, supporting resume and cover letter development, and preparing individuals for interviews. The Employment Counsellor conducts ongoing case management, maintains accurate records, and coordinates with other service providers and employers to connect participants with training and job opportunities. The role also involves accompaniment and advocacy, helping participants navigate barriers to employment and access community resources.
