Chandos Construction in Ottawa, Ontario is seeking a Project Coordinator to organize and control project activities under the supervision of a Project Manager. The Project Coordinator will support and collaborate with the Project Manager and Superintendent in overseeing and managing their assigned projects.

Qualifications

• Two or more years of experience as a Project Coordinator with a general contractor.
• Technical diploma in a construction-related field (CET) or equivalent.
• Able to read blueprints, schematics, field drawings and plans.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and Bluebeam Revu.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project documentation including meeting minutes, change orders, site instructions and logs.
• Set up and maintain project reporting procedures and drawing control.
• Maintain accurate logs (RFI, vendor/subcontractor, purchase, owner) with traceability.
• Assist in trade contractor site meetings, RFIs, invoices and document control.
• Manage payroll, timekeeping, labour/equipment coding, purchases and safety reporting.
• Review plans for compliance with codes and regulations.
