Job summary

NFI Group in Winnipeg, MB is seeking a People and Culture Programs Specialist to lead enterprise-wide programs that enhance employee engagement, culture, and experience across the organization. You will partner with leaders to deliver consistent, impactful initiatives across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities include developing and executing culture and engagement programs, coordinating communications frameworks, measuring impact with data, supporting surveys and events, and advancing

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in HR, business administration, communications, or related field.
• Experience supporting employee engagement, culture, communications, recognition, or other HR programs.
• Strong project coordination and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience analyzing workforce data to support decision-making and program effectiveness.
• Strong relationship-building and stakeholder collaboration.
• Ability to influence change through effective communication.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables) and Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and execution of company-wide culture and employee engagement programs.
• Coordinate and maintain People & Culture communication frameworks, tools, templates, and standards.
• Measure program effectiveness and analyze engagement trends to inform improvements.
• Support employee surveys, feedback initiatives, and engagement action planning.
• Coordinate presentations, leadership updates, and corporate communications.
• Assist with employee engagement events, recognition programs, and fundraising campaigns.
• Support onboarding, stay interviews, exit interviews, and feedback processes.
• Collaborate with HR Operations to enhance onboarding and experience programs.
• Analyze workforce data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Develop and maintain People & Culture policies and governance initiatives.

Education

Post-secondary education in HR/Business/Communications/Org Development or related field
