Job summary

NFI Group, a global bus manufacturer, seeks a Professional and Leadership Development Manager in Winnipeg, MB. This hybrid, full-time role leads enterprise leadership and professional development initiatives, partnering with senior HR and business leaders to strengthen capability and performance.

Responsibilities include designing programs, delivering diverse formats (classroom, virtual, coaching), and measuring impact with defined metrics. Travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate or training in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Adult Education, or equivalent.
• Experience developing, implementing, and facilitating leadership and professional development programs.
• Strong curriculum design, instructional design, and program delivery capabilities.
• Experience facilitating learning programs and workshops for adult learners and leaders.
• Ability to partner with senior leaders and influence organizational development initiatives.
• Knowledge of leadership development, organizational effectiveness, and change management principles.
• Experience measuring learning outcomes and driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Strong project management, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities; proficient with MS Office.
• Experience with learning technologies or Articulate is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute enterprise leadership and professional development strategies aligned with goals.
• Partner with senior leadership and HR to enhance capability and performance.
• Design, implement, and improve leadership programs and learning pathways.
• Build relationships with internal experts, institutions, and external partners.
• Oversee development and delivery of curriculum through classroom, virtual, blended, coaching, and eLearning.
• Evaluate onboarding and leadership transition programs to improve engagement and productivity.
• Establish metrics to measure learning effectiveness and business impact.
• Support culture, change management, workforce planning, and engagement initiatives.
• Contribute to learning budgets and ensure value from resources.
• Provide strategic leadership for enterprise forums and development events.
• Present learning metrics and capability reports to senior leadership.
• Ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.
