Pratt & Whitney Canada in Longueuil is seeking an Employee Experience & Capability Life Cycle – Program Coordinator to coordinate onboarding, learning and development across Global Operations, ensuring a structured, role-relevant experience for new hires.

You will collaborate with HR, managers, subject-matter experts and learning partners to manage schedules, documents and progress, driving time-to-proficiency and a consistently excellent employee journey.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Communications, Project Management or a related field.
  • Approximately three to five years of experience in program coordination, onboarding, learning and development, HR or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple activities, timelines, stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with employees, managers and leaders at various levels.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and evolving environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook and Teams.
  • Experience maintaining program records, tracking systems, dashboards or status reports.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the end-to-end execution of the Global Operations onboarding program.
  • Maintain onboarding schedules, calendars, checklists, templates and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities from pre-boarding through the employee’s first 30, 60 and 90 days.
  • Ensure onboarding activities, meetings and learning sessions are scheduled and completed.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions, operational overviews, technical training and role-specific development activities.
  • Organize onboarding cohorts and maintain participant lists.
  • Coordinate facilitators, presenters, subject-matter experts and learning resources.
  • Follow up with managers and stakeholders regarding outstanding actions and deliverables.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, risks and resource constraints, escalating issues as needed.
  • Maintain onboarding documentation.

As the Employee Experience & Capability Life Cycle – Program Coordinator, you support the coordination, implementation and continuous improvement of employee experience and capability-development initiatives across Global Operations, with an initial and primary focus on the onboarding and integration stage.

Working closely with managers, Human Resources, subject-matter experts, Learning and Development partners and business representatives, you ensure that new employees receive a structured, consistent and role-relevant onboarding experience.

You serve as a central point of coordination for onboarding schedules, communications, learning activities, stakeholder follow-ups, documentation, employee feedback and progress tracking. You also support the connection between onboarding, role readiness, capability development and the broader employee life cycle.

Through your work, you contribute to improving employee integration, role clarity, time to proficiency and the overall employee experience during the first days and months of employment.

The position is based at our Longueuil location, from Monday to Friday, with flexible hours and exclusively on-site.

What will your day-to-day look like?
Onboarding Program Coordination
  • Coordinate the end-to-end execution of the Global Operations onboarding program.
  • Maintain onboarding schedules, calendars, checklists, templates and implementation plans.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities from pre-boarding through the employee’s first 30, 60 and 90 days.
  • Ensure that required onboarding activities, meetings and learning sessions are scheduled and completed.
  • Coordinate orientation sessions, operational overviews, technical training and role-specific development activities.
  • Organize onboarding cohorts and maintain accurate participant lists.
  • Coordinate facilitators, presenters, subject-matter experts and learning resources.
  • Follow up with managers and stakeholders regarding outstanding actions, information and deliverables.
  • Identify scheduling conflicts, execution risks and resource constraints, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate, accessible and current onboarding documentation.
Employee and Manager Support
  • Serve as a central point of contact for onboarding-related questions from employees, managers and business partners.
  • Provide managers with onboarding plans, checklists, templates and supporting tools.
  • Communicate onboarding expectations, responsibilities and timelines.
  • Support managers in adapting the common onboarding framework to the employee’s role, discipline, business unit and location.
  • Help employees navigate available learning resources, systems, organizational information and development opportunities.
  • Monitor onboarding progress and coordinate follow-up when activities are delayed or incomplete.
  • Promote a welcoming, structured and consistent employee experience.
Learning and Capability Coordination
  • Coordinate role-based learning activities with managers, subject-matter experts and learning partners.
  • Support the development and maintenance of onboarding curricula by role, discipline and employee population.
  • Connect onboarding requirements with job responsibilities, competency profiles and capability-development pathways.
  • Coordinate required technical, operational, compliance and organizational learning activities.
  • Integrate on-the-job training, coaching, mentoring and job-shadowing activities into onboarding plans.
  • Track the completion of required learning and development activities.
  • Identify recurring capability gaps and communicate findings to the appropriate program owners.
Stakeholder Coordination
  • Build effective working relationships with Human Resources, hiring managers, business leaders, Learning and Development teams, subject-matter experts and support functions.
  • Coordinate onboarding activities across Global Operations business units, sites and regions.
  • Facilitate onboarding planning and progress-review meetings.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, document decisions and track actions through completion.
  • Clarify stakeholder roles and responsibilities.
  • Support the implementation of common Global Operations standards while recognizing local and regional requirements.
  • Maintain an active network of onboarding contacts and contributors.
Employee Experience and Feedback
  • Collect feedback from new employees, managers and onboarding contributors.
  • Coordinate onboarding surveys and structured check-ins at key moments, including the first week and the 30-, 60- and 90-day milestones.
  • Identify positive experiences, recurring pain points and opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the analysis of employee feedback and onboarding-related results.
  • Contribute to translating feedback and findings into concrete program improvements.
  • Promote the integration of the employee voice throughout their onboarding experience.
  • Ensure consistency and quality of the employee experience across different sites and employee populations.
Reporting and Performance Measurement
  • Maintain accurate onboarding records, participant information and program documentation.
  • Develop and update dashboards, status reports and performance indicators related to onboarding.
  • Track metrics.
  • Prepare regular program updates covering achievements, next steps, risks and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify trends and recommend improvements to program execution and employee experience outcomes.
  • Protect employee personal information and maintain an appropriate level of confidentiality.
Continuous Improvement
  • Support continuous improvement of the methodology, content and tools for Global Operations onboarding.
  • Review feedback, performance data and lessons learned.
  • Benchmark onboarding and employee experience practices against market best practices.
  • Contribute to standardizing and simplifying onboarding processes within Global Operations.
  • Support the development and pilot testing of new models, tools and digital solutions.
  • Coordinate the updating of onboarding documents with content owners and subject-matter experts.
  • Document standard processes and working methods to improve program consistency and sustainability.
Employee Life Cycle Program Support
  • Support initiatives related to the broader employee experience life cycle and capability development, as priorities evolve.
  • Help establish links between onboarding, development, performance management, career progression, internal mobility, knowledge transfer and succession.
  • Maintain documentation, process maps, tools and tracking related to the employee life cycle.
  • Support employee consultation and listening activities at key moments in their journey.
  • Coordinate cross-functional actions resulting from employee experience findings.
  • Contribute to developing an integrated and consistent employee experience across Global Operations.
What do you need to succeed?
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, Education, Communications, Project Management or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Approximately three to five years of experience in program coordination, employee onboarding, employee experience, learning and development, human resources or project coordination.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple activities, timelines, stakeholders and deliverables.
  • Excellent organizational, planning and follow-up skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

This position operates in a French-speaking work environment; however, it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with international clients, suppliers or colleagues.
