Job summary

Summit is a boutique Canadian commercial insurance brokerage expanding its Employee Benefits practice. This role is for an Employee Benefits Advisor who will own their pipeline, drive new opportunities, and work directly with decision-makers. You’ll be supported with tools, flexibility, and real upside as you win business.

If you’ve got experience but feel stuck at a large firm or want to move from insurer to revenue-driving advisory, this is your chance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee benefits or group insurance experience.
• Life & A&S license in home province (we’ll license you elsewhere ASAP).
• CEBS or GBA designation is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and opening doors with business owners and HR leaders.
• Turning conversations into opportunities — and opportunities into clients.
• Designing and presenting group benefits solutions (health, dental, life, A&S, wellness).
• Managing relationships from first meeting through onboarding and renewals.
• Working closely with carriers and internal teammates to get deals across the line.
• Building a book of business you’re proud of — and growing it.
