Job summary

Summit in Kelowna and Winnipeg is seeking an Employee Benefits Advisor who will own their pipeline, drive new opportunities with business owners and HR leaders, and move conversations into client wins with support from carriers and internal teammates.

You’ll design and present group benefits solutions (health, dental, life, A&S, wellness), manage relationships from first meeting through onboarding and renewals, and thrive in a fast‑moving, ownership‑driven culture with a flexible hybrid work

Qualifications

• 3+ years of employee benefits or group insurance experience.
• Life & A&S license in home province (we’ll license you elsewhere ASAP).
• CEBS or GBA designation is an asset.
• Comfortable hearing \"no\" and pushing forward.
• Autonomy and accountability for results.

Responsibilities

• Prospecting and opening doors with business owners and HR leaders.
• Turning conversations into opportunities and opportunities into clients.
• Designing and presenting group benefits solutions (health, dental, life, A&S, wellness).
• Managing relationships from first meeting through onboarding and renewals.
• Working closely with carriers and internal teammates to close deals.
• Building and growing a book of business.
