A leading veterinary facility in Kingston, Ontario is actively seeking an Emergency Veterinarian to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity to provide top-tier care for animals in need, while benefiting from a supportive environment and a great work-life balance.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for handling emergency and critical cases, using modern diagnostic equipment, and collaborating with a skilled team of veterinary professionals. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver emergency and critical care to a variety of patients in a fast-paced environment.
  • Perform diagnostics, treatment plans, surgeries, and other procedures for critical cases.
  • Work closely with veterinary technicians, specialists, and other team members to ensure the highest level of care.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners, explaining conditions, treatment options, and follow-up care.
  • Stay current on the latest advancements in veterinary medicine to provide the best care possible.

Qualifications:

  • DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) or equivalent.
  • Licensure to practice in Ontario (or eligibility to obtain).
  • Experience in emergency veterinary care preferred, but not required.
  • Strong clinical skills with the ability to perform well under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Compassionate and confident approach to patient care.
