Qualifications

• Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
• Post-graduate emergency course work or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect information to diagnose and plan nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with care team and families to develop and modify care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care, supervise support staff and refer to interprofessional teams as needed.
• Educate patients and families about health care and discharge planning.
• Document assessments, care plans and outcomes according to Fraser Health standards.
