Job summary

Shared Health in Winnipeg is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Adult ER - HSC unit. The RN provides professional nursing care, administers prescribed treatments, and leads aspects of patient care coordination and discharge planning.

Under supervision of the Health Services Manager, the RN will support complex needs, participate in the Emergency Nursing Orientation program, and maintain CRNM registration. Full-time, in-person, day and night shifts offered with 12-hour daily hours.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved RN program.
• Current CRNM registration required.
• CPR (Healthcare Provider) certification required.
• ENO training completed or in training pathway.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional registered nursing services for patients with complex needs.
• Administer prescribed treatments and lead care coordination.
• Facilitate discharge planning and patient education.
