Job summary

Fraser Health is seeking a Part Time Registered Nurse, Emergency with Specialty Qualifications to join the Emergency team at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, BC. You will provide direct patient care in a fast-paced ED, collaborating with physicians and care teams to assess, plan and implement treatment plans.

The role includes teaching patients and families, documenting care, and contributing to quality improvement efforts.

Qualifications

• Nursing assessments and diagnostic reasoning in acute care.
• Clear communication with patients, families and care teams.
• Advocacy for patient rights, privacy and autonomy.
• Collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals.
• Ongoing education and maintenance of clinical competence.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect information to plan and evaluate care.
