Fraser Health is seeking a Part-Time Registered Nurse, Transition Line (Specialty Nursing) to join the Emergency team at Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock, B.C. The role involves rotating through specialty nursing units and advancing post‑graduate course work in related areas.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration (BCCNM).
• Completion of applicable post graduate specialty nursing courses/program.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collect information to diagnose and plan care.
• Collaborate with patients and families to develop and modify care plans.
• Coordinate nursing care, set priorities, and delegate tasks per protocol.
• Work with interprofessional team to ensure comprehensive care planning and delivery.
• Educate patients and families about health care and self-care.
• Document assessments, interventions and outcomes per Fraser Health standards.
