Northern Health is seeking Emergency Physicians to join the new Ksyen Regional Hospital in Terrace, BC. The ED offers day and overnight coverage with flexible scheduling and teaching opportunities for residents and students.

The position includes 0.5–1.0 FTE negotiations and a strong multidisciplinary support team. The department features on-site CT, MRI, ultrasound, an ICU, and a comprehensive range of surgical and medical services, with a commitment to culturally safe care for Indigenous

Qualifications

• Emergency physician with interest in trauma and acute care.
• Formal certification in emergency medicine preferred but not required.
• Flexibility for teaching and academic activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide shift coverage in the 24/7 Emergency Department.
• Collaborate with subspecialists for trauma and critical care.
• Engage in resident and medical student teaching and simulations.
