Job description

The Hawkesbury and District General Hospital (HGH) is looking for Emergency Physicians (R3) to join its dynamic medical team.

HGH is a family and patient-centred bilingual regional hospital. We provide essential services to the residents of Prescott-Russell and the surrounding region. As the majority of the population we serve is francophone, fluency in both French and English is a requirement.

Our team of over 200 physicians and 800 employees is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services and relies on teamwork, innovation, and leadership.

Clinical Setting and Duties

Our team is composed of 32 physicians. The Emergency Department receives over 55,000 patient visits per year.

Qualifications

• Certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent qualification
• Independent practice license from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario
