Enjoy flexible scheduling, competitive compensation, and a supportive team environment focused on quality and safety.
Teladoc Health Canada has groundbreaking opportunities for Canadian licensed physicians across primary care. This is your opportunity to join a rapidly growing Canadian team of virtual practitioners and help shape the future of healthcare in Newfoundland and Labrador. Our comprehensive virtual primary care team comprises Nurse Practitioners and Physicians.
Serving over 9 million Canadians for more than 20 years, Teladoc Health is the world leader in virtual care, operating in 175 countries, founded with the vision to create a world where great healthcare is always within reach. We are dedicated to caring for Canadians, and our virtual practitioners provide healthcare in several service areas, from general telehealth services and expert medical services to mental health services.
Clinician engagement, clinical quality, patient safety, and healthcare innovation are crucial pillars of our mission as we seek impactful and connected healthcare across the country.
Teladoc Health Canada is looking for Primary Care Physicians (CCFP) to join our clinical team. This role supports patients in their communities with quality healthcare and adds capacity to existing systems.
We offer virtual primary care services through a partnership with the provincial health authority to all patients in Newfoundland and Labrador not currently attached to a family doctor. Patients access care via our virtual platforms and receive comprehensive, publicly funded services.
In this dynamic environment, you will manage primary care consults and support patients across the continuum of care. All healthcare providers share responsibility for clinical quality and patient safety, including cultural safety, clinician wellness, and health equity, especially for rural Canadians and underserved populations such as Indigenous communities.
Our provincial partnerships support integrated services, including primary and emergency care, delivering first contact, comprehensive, coordinated, and continuous patient care. More about our recent success in NL: here.
