Island Health’s Department of Emergency Medicine invites certified emergency physicians to apply to join our progressive, collegial group of 20+ in the oceanfront community of Nanaimo, BC.
The Nanaimo Emergency Physicians Association provides emergency and trauma team leadership services in the busiest emergency department on Vancouver Island in a new, state-of-the-art department. The Nanaimo emergency department is a referral center for the central Vancouver Island catchment area with an annual census of 70,000 patient visits and has back-up from all major specialties.
