Job summary

Saskatchewan Health Authority in Meadow Lake is seeking an Emergency Medical Technician Paramedic for the Meadow Lake Hospital ambulance service. This part-time temporary position supports ALS response and standby shifts within the Ambulance - Land department.

Starting November 20, 2026, the role offers a pay band of CAD 39,654 to 48,451 with a 0.67 FTE, and may include recruitment or retention incentives under the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 4 driver’s license.
• Pre-Hospital Care Program - ACP Level.
• Basic Life Support Certificate (BLS).
• Registered/eligible with Saskatchewan College of Paramedics at ACP/EMT-P.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergent and non-emergent ALS services.
• Continue ALS care until hospital authorities take over.
• Preference for HSAS members in accordance with SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.

Job Description: Emergency Medical Technician Paramedics are responsible for providing emergent and non-emergent Advanced Life Support (ALS) services to the sick and injured, and for continuing to provide ALS medical services until responsibility for patient care can be assumed by hospital authorities. "Preference for this position will be given to HSAS membersin accordance with the terms and conditions of the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement"
