Job summary

Providence Health Care in Vancouver is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for on-site care at St. Paul’s Hospital. The role supports patient/resident care with an interdisciplinary team and follows BC Standards of Practice.

The position offers a competitive hourly wage ($32.84–$41.35) with days/nights rotation, regular full-time hours (FTE 0.50–1.00) and opportunities for growth within PHC.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized program for Practical Nurses or equivalent experience.
• Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as an LPN.
• Current basic CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to an assigned group of patients/residents per policies and standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team and access RN/RPN for complex care.
• Participate in care planning, assessments, interventions, and documentation.
• Document care and report incidents following established procedures.
• Assist with orientation of new staff and students as required.
