Job summary

The Fort Saskatchewan Community Hospital in Alberta is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department team. You will provide a wide range of nursing services, apply nursing processes, and advocate for patient and family-centered care in a high-functioning unit.

Provisional permits may be paid at the RN rate and full practice permits adjust per UNA. Opportunites include training, orientation and professional development within a collaborative interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide wide-ranging nursing care in the Emergency Department using nursing processes, critical thinking and clinical judgement.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to coordinate patient care and ensure safety.
• Support patient- and family-centered care and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
