Job summary

Coastal Reign Printing Ltd in Toronto is seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator to run Tajima multi-head embroidery equipment and prepare garments for production. You will hoot, thread, color-match designs, and ensure timely completion of orders in a busy shop environment.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years of embroidery experience and a strong eye for detail, with the ability to troubleshoot common machine errors and maintain equipment between shifts.

• Minimum 2 years of embroidery experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate multi-head Tajima embroidery machines.
• Hoop shirts, hoodies, polos, hats and more for embroidery.
• Troubleshoot common errors such as thread breakage and bobbin issues.
• Obtain work orders and report stock or design issues as needed.
• Select materials and colors for embroidery.
• Calibrate and set up machines at each shift start.
• Maintain machines to ensure good working order.
• Follow schedule to complete orders on time.

Embroidery Machine Operator

Status: Currently Hiring

Key Responsibilities

• Work and operate multi-head Tajima embroidery machines
• Hooping shirts, hoodies, polos, hats and more on embroidery machines
• Troubleshoot various types of common errors including: broken threads, bobbin errors, etc.
• Obtain work orders from supervisors to determine the type and design of embroidered logos and report any issues or reordering stock as required
• Select the appropriate materials to perform embroidery on
• Calibrate and set up embroidery machines at the beginning of each shift to ensure that it is in proper working order
• Choose the right colour of threads that best match an embroidery design
• Perform both preventative and regular maintenance on embroidery machines to ensure that they remain in good working order.
• The ability to follow a schedule and have orders completed on time.

Requirements

• Know how to work and operate a multi-head Tajima embroidery machine
• Minimum 2 years of embroidery experience
