Xona is seeking a Software Engineer in Montreal to contribute to the development and integration of a desktop application that communicates with our internal satellite receivers. You will write application code for satellite subsystem components and collaborate with a small, mission-focused team to deliver critical insights.

Qualifications

• Experience with C and Python coding languages and build systems.
• Experience with hardware communication system protocols such as RS-485, UART, I2C, CAN, SPI, and ethernet TCP/IP.
• Experience with dev kits and firmware flashing.
• Software architecting for software-hardware interfaces, build system design, component and subsystem communication design, and software modularization.
• Embedded development for microcontroller programming and RTOS experience.
