Job summary

Intero Integrity Services is seeking an Embedded Electrical Engineer to join our Scarborough, ON team. You will develop electronics for robotic inspection systems, from concept through field deployment, collaborating across mechanical, software, and manufacturing teams.

You will design schematics and PCB layouts, work with Altium and Saturn PCB Design, and help debug complex hardware, including motor drivers and communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in electrical engineering or embedded systems.
• Experience with hardware development from concept to field deployment.
• Strong troubleshooting and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical concepts, system architectures and design solutions for new products and existing platforms.
• Create electrical schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams, and documentation.
• Support electronics development using Altium Designer and Saturn PCB Design.
• Integrate, debug and tune hardware systems including motor drivers and power control.
• Participate in design reviews, DFMEA, and feasibility assessments.
• Develop and execute test plans, validation activities, and engineering evaluations.
• Troubleshoot electrical and system-level issues and support root-cause investigations.
• Support lifecycle management and product releases across teams.
