Proppel Inc. is seeking an experienced Email Designer for a contract role with a dermatologist-founded brand focused on scalp health and hair growth. This role centers on shaping the look and feel of our email program to educate and engage customers across campaigns and automated flows.

You will design mobile-first emails, build templates in Figma, prepare assets for Klaviyo, and contribute visuals for SMS, ads, and social placements while adhering to product claims guidelines.

Qualifikationen

• 3+ years of hands-on design experience with a strong focus on email for DTC or ecommerce brands.
• Strong Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills with sharp typography and layout instincts for clean, conversion-focused design.
• Solid knowledge of email best practices: visual hierarchy, image-to-text balance, accessibility, and dark mode.
• Confident Klaviyo experience and the ability to create AI-generated static images using ChatGPT, Claude, and other tools.

What we're looking for

A fast-growing, dermatologist-founded scalp health and hair growth brand is looking for an Email Designer to own the look of its email program. The brand is built on science and on a mission to turn a once-taboo topic into a conversation about care and optimism. Email is one of its most important channels for educating customers and keeping them engaged.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Own the full suite of promotional campaigns and automated flows (welcome, post-purchase, replenishment, and win-back), turning copy and briefs into polished, on-brand emails.
• Build and maintain modular templates and components in Figma, using the asset library and brand guidelines to keep every send consistent.
• Prepare final assets for build in Klaviyo, including image slicing, GIFs, and alt text.
• Design mobile-first layouts that hold up across major inboxes and in dark mode.
• Test layout, hero, and CTA variations, and bring new ideas and formats, including motion.
• Create supporting visuals for SMS/MMS, occasional social or web placements, and static paid ads, following product claims guidelines.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on design experience, with a strong focus on email for DTC or ecommerce brands.
• Strong Figma, Photoshop, and Illustrator skills, plus sharp typography and layout instincts for clean, conversion-focused design.
• Solid knowledge of email best practices: visual hierarchy, image-to-text balance, accessibility, and dark mode.
• Confident Klaviyo experience and the ability to create AI-generated static images using ChatGPT, Claude, and other tools.
• A self-starter mindset: you work fast, independently, and calmly manage a steady calendar of sends as priorities shift.

Nice to Have

• Basic HTML/CSS for email.
• Simple GIF animation or motion design.
• Experience in beauty, hair care, skincare, or wellness.
