Job summary

Securitas Canada is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect a secure private facility in Ottawa, Ontario. You will manage access control, patrol interiors and exteriors, deter theft, and enforce client regulations.

Candidates should have strong communication skills and be reliable. Bilingual English/French is an asset but not required. 12-hour shifts from 0600–1800 or 1800–0600; enhanced security clearance is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, mature and able to work days and/or nights as required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills are essential.
• Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.
• Basic computer proficiency including Word and email.

Responsibilities

• Manage access control and badge programming.
• Conduct interior and exterior patrols.
• Deter theft and vandalism and prevent unauthorized access.
• Enforce client regulations and respond to emergency calls.
