Sage-Haus in Taber, Alberta, seeks a dedicated House Manager / Family Assistant to keep a busy home organized, calm, and nourished. This full-time role blends childcare support with household operations, including meal planning, shopping, errands, calendar management, and vendor oversight, with an emphasis on safety, discretion, and warm, proactive help.

Competenze

• Experience working with infants and children of varying ages.
• CPR and First Aid certified, or willing to obtain upon hire
• Clean driving record; experience driving children
• Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs throughout the day
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
• Comfortable working in proximity to an indoor pool
• Maintain a smoke-free environment
• Comfortable working in a home with one small dog
• Comfortable working in a Christian household
• Comfortable supervising children around water (home has an indoor pool)
• Must be authorized to work in Canada

Mansioni

• Morning assistance getting children ready for school — breakfast preparation, backpacks, and out the door by approximately 8:05am
• School drop-off and afternoon pickup , including staggered school schedules
• Activity transportation for the older children, including karate and horseback riding lessons
• Preparation of backpacks, snacks, and grab-and-go school lunches
• Provide childcare as trust develops, including support with younger children
• Oversee younger children to local outings during family meetings at home
• Birthday & Celebration Coordination: plan and execute parties, decor, catering, hosting
• Daily dinner prep for approximately 10 people, 5 nights per week
• Weekly meal planning and seasonal treats
• Batch breakfast prep and grab-and-go items
• Weekly prep of snack cups and lunch items for school
• Grocery management via Instacart
• Kitchen cleanup and daily maintenance
• Dietary focus and variety in meals
• Daily household reset and laundry cycles
• Inventory management of supplies and vendor coordination
• Vehicle upkeep and maintenance scheduling
• Deep cleaning and seasonal organizational projects
• Administrative support: travel planning, calendar management, receipts
• Vendor oversight and home repairs coordination
• Pet care: dog walking and monthly grooming
• Background check as required
