Need a Nanny is seeking a capable Household Manager / Family Assistant to join our Calgary home on a part-time, long-term basis. The role blends housekeeping, organization and occasional childcare as our parents work from home and our young daughter grows.

We value initiative, reliability and discretion in a trusted, proactive team member. The successful candidate will help keep the home running smoothly, manage calendars, restock items, and be ready to step in with childcare when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with housekeeping, nannying, household management or family-assistant work is an asset.
• Trust and safety are incredibly important; preference for gradual relationship building before leaving child in care.
• Schedule ≈2–4 days per week with some flexibility depending on family needs.

Responsibilities

Household Manager / Family Assistant

Part-Time Long-Term Calgary, AB

We are a busy young family looking for an exceptional Household Manager / Family Assistant to become a trusted, long-term part of our household.

This is a hybrid role combining housekeeping, household organization and occasional childcare. We aren’t looking for someone who simply comes in, completes a cleaning checklist and leaves. We’re looking for someone proactive, organized and dependable who takes pride in helping a household run beautifully.

Both parents work from home, and we have a sweet one-year-old daughter, as well as two super friendly kitties.

The majority of the role will initially focus on keeping the home clean, organized and running smoothly, with occasional help entertaining or caring for our daughter while we’re working nearby.

What the role may include:

If you notice the laundry needs switching over, you switch it. If we’re running low on something, you add it to the list. If a cupboard has become chaos, you organize it. We want someone who eventually knows the rhythm of our home and can confidently take ownership of their role within it.
